Poland Current Account Deficit Widens Sharply in July

Poland's current account deficit widened to EUR 1,335 million in July 2025 from EUR 491 million in the corresponding month of 2024. The goods deficit increased to EUR 1,265 million from EUR 1,167 million, while the primary income shortfall widened to EUR 3,274 million from EUR 2,620 million. The services surplus narrowed slightly to EUR 3,281 million from EUR 3,461 million. In contrast, the secondary income shortfall went down to EUR 104 million from EUR 165 million.
