Latvia’s current account deficit narrowed to EUR 152 million in July 2025 from EUR 251 million in the corresponding month of the previous year, as primary income switched to a surplus of EUR 49 million from a shortfall of EUR 108 million. At the same time, secondary income surplus widened to EUR 76 million from EUR 60 million. On the other hand, the goods gap increased to EUR 474 million from EUR 426 million, and the services surplus narrowed to EUR 196 million from EUR 223 million.
