Hungary’s construction output rose by 4.9% year-on-year in July 2025, marking the fourth consecutive month of growth, from 2.6% in the previous month. Production advanced in building construction by 5.7% from 0.4% in June. Meanwhile, output in civil engineering works eased to 4.7% from 6.5%. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, construction output increased by 0.8% in July, rebounding from a 5.3% drop in the preceding period.
