Chile’s central bank raised its 2025 economic growth forecast on Wednesday to a range of 2.25%–2.75%, up from its previous estimate of 2.0%–2.75%, lifting the lower end of the projection. The bank also revised its 2026 GDP growth forecast to 1.75%–2.75%, compared to the earlier range of 1.5%–2.5%. Meanwhile, the average annual inflation rate for 2025 is now expected at 4.4%, slightly higher than the 4.3% projected previously. The central bank added that inflation is expected to reach its 3% target by the third quarter of 2026.
