Denmark’s seasonally adjusted goods and services trade surplus widened to DKK 30.6 billion in July 2025 from an upwardly revised DKK 24.4 billion in June. It was the largest trade surplus since October 2024, as exports rose while imports fell. Exports grew 3.3% month-on-month to a seven-month high of DKK 180.7 billion, supported by increases in both goods exports (2.2%) and services exports (4.9%). Meanwhile, imports declined by 0.3% to DKK 150.1 billion, weighed down by a decrease in goods imports (-1.7%). For the first seven months of the year, Denmark recorded a trade surplus of DKK 166.9 billion, up from DKK 160.2 billion in the same period of 2024.
