US Wage Growth Steady at 0.3% MoM as Forecast

Average hourly earnings for all employees on US private nonfarm payrolls rose by 10 cents, or 0.3% over a month, to $36.53 in August 2025, maintaining July’s pace and aligning with market expectations. In August, average hourly earnings of private-sector production and nonsupervisory employees rose by 12 cents, or 0.4%, to $31.46. Over the past 12 months, average hourly earnings have increased by 3.7%, down from a 3.9% advance in July and also in line with the consensus.
