The Australian opened the final session of the month lower as investors look to profit take following a mixed reporting season that delivered plenty of swings and roundabouts.
The S&P/ASX 200 index was down 27.40 points, or 0.3 per cent to 8953.50 at 10.12am AEST with six of the 11 sectors lower led by heavyweight healthcare and financials.
