Russia Stocks Lower at Close of Trade; MOEX Index Down 2.06%

Investing - Russia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Mining and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Moscow, the MOEX Russia Index declined 2.06%.
The best performers of the session on the MOEX Russia Index were IPJSC YANDEX, which rose 2.22% or 98.00 points to trade at 4,508.00 at the close. Meanwhile, PIK SHb PJSC added 2.17% or 13.80 points to end at 650.20 and T Tekhnologii MKPAO was up 0.79% or 26.60 points to 3,400.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TATNEFT n.a. V.D. Shashin Pref, which fell 3.12% or 21.50 points to trade at 668.40 at the close. TATNEFT n.a. V.D. Shashin declined 2.63% or 19.10 points to end at 706.30 and Rosneft PJSC was down 2.51% or 12.25 points to 475.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Moscow Stock Exchange by 134 to 102 and 14 ended unchanged.
The Russian Volatility Index - RVI, which measures the implied volatility of MOEX Russia Index options, was up 1.99% to 41.51.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.13% or 4.55 to $3,378.05 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.97% or 0.60 to hit $62.58 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract fell 0.05% or 0.03 to trade at $66.44 a barrel.
USD/RUB was unchanged 0.00% to 80.69, while EUR/RUB unchanged 0.00% to 93.92.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 98.01.
