IDXChannel - Harga emas mencatat kenaikan 1,04 persen sepanjang pekan lalu, didorong sentimen rencana Gedung Putih mengeluarkan perintah eksekutif terkait tarif emas batangan.
Pernyataan dari pejabat Gedung Putih mengenai rencana perintah eksekutif ini muncul setelah situs Bea Cukai dan Perlindungan Perbatasan AS memuat putusan yang mengindikasikan kemungkinan Washington akan memberlakukan tarif impor khusus negara terhadap emas batangan yang paling banyak diperdagangkan di AS.
Pergerakan Wall Street Pekan Depan Dibayangi Rilis Data Inflasi ASKontrak berjangka (futures) emas AS untuk pengiriman Desember tercatat stabil di USD3.454,1 per troy ons, setelah sempat menyentuh rekor USD3.534,10 di awal sesi Jumat (8/8) pekan lalu. Sementara, emas spot naik tipis 0,04 persen ke level USD3.397,76 per troy ons.
Survei mingguan Kitco News menunjukkan para pakar industri kembali optimistis terhadap emas, seiring investor ritel mempertahankan pandangan bullish untuk prospek jangka pendek logam mulia ini.
