IDXChannel - PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) mencaplok seluruh saham HBS (PNG) Limited beserta anak usahanya (Grup HBS) yang berlokasi di Papua New Guinea. Nilai transaksi sebesar 40 juta dolar Australia atau setara USD25,76 juta.

Dilansir dari keterbukaan informasi Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI), Jumat (1/8/2025), kedua perusahaan telah menandatangani Perjanjian Jual Beli Saham Bersyarat pada 1 Agustus 2025.

Corporate Secretary PTRO Anto Broto mengatakan, pembelian Grup HBS merupakan bagian dari strategi pengembangan usaha perseroan ke luar negeri dan diversifikasi ke sektor mineral emas.

"Akuisisi ini diharapkan memperkuat kinerja dan kedudukan perseroan, dan menciptakan sinergi operasional antara Indonesia dan Papua New Guinea," ujarnya.
