Menurut Market Analyst Foreximf.com, harga emas sempat melonjak menyusul kombinasi berita yang menyebutkan bahwa Presiden AS, Donald Trump, berencana memecat Ketua Federal Reserve Jerome Powell, ditambah dengan berita serangan Israel ke Suriah. Namun kenaikan harga emas kembali terpangkas setelah Donald Trump menyangkal rumor pemecatan Powell tersebut.
