Ferrero dimiliki oleh crazy rich Italia, Michele Ferrero. Dia adalah anak tunggal dari pasangan Pietro Ferrero yang mendirikan Ferrero dan istrinya, Piera Cillario.

Selain Kellogg's, Kellanova yang dibentuk bersamaan saat Kellogg Company dipecah menjadi dua, saat ini juga tengah dalam proses penjualan. Berdasarkan laporan Wall Street Journal, nilai akuisisinya sekitar USD36 miliar.
