IDXChannel - Indeks utama Wall Street dibuka lebih tinggi pada Rabu (17/4/2024), didukung pertumbuhan saham-saham megacap. Investor juga semringah menyambut periode laporan keuangan kuartal pertama di tengah penantian terhadap pejabat Federal Reserve untuk mencari petunjuk mengenai keadaan perekonomian.
Dow Jones Industrial Average naik 150,70 poin, atau 0,40% pada pembukaan menjadi 37.949,67. S&P 500 dibuka lebih tinggi sebesar 17,56 poin, atau 0,35% pada 5.068,97. Sedangkan Nasdaq Composite naik 77,03 poin atau 0,49% menjadi 15.942,29 pada bel pembukaan.
