The OECD has transformed the global growth outlook thanks to improvements in the US economy.
• Global growth in 2024 is expected to reach 2.9% (Previously: 2.7%)
• US growth in 2024 is expected to reach 2.1% (Previously: 1.5%), in 2025 it will remain unchanged at 1.7%.
• Euro Area growth in 2024 is expected to reach 0.6% (Previously: 0.9%), in 2025 it is expected to be 1.3% (Previously: 1.5%).
• UK growth forecast in 2024 remains unchanged at 0.7%, in 2025 at 1.2%.
In addition, the OECD did not change China's growth forecast for 2024 and 2025, which are 4.7% and 4.2%, respectively. This organization also warned that if the situation in the Red Sea persists, CPI will be affected and increase by 0.4% within a year.
