• Before: surplus of 10.0 billion Euro
The euro area trade surplus increased slightly in October as exports increased 0.6% while imports decreased 0.2% during the month, both on a seasonally adjusted basis. Comparing year-to-date data, exports are down 0.2% while imports are down about 12.7% on an unadjusted basis compared to the period from January to October last year.
