Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Harga emas dunia melesat pada pekan ini setelah sebelumnya merosot empat minggu beruntun. Perekonomian Amerika Serikat (AS) yang diprediksi akan mengalami resesi yang cukup para membuat permintaan emas sebagai safe haven meningkat.
Melansir dara Refinitiv, emas sepanjang pekan ini melesat nyaris 2,5% ke US$ 1.854/troy ons. Kenaikan tersebut menjadi yang terbesar sejak pertengahan Januari lalu.
