"We think the RBA will have to raise (cash) rates by 50 basis points in July," Westpac's head of economics, Bill Evans, forecast.
The Reserve Bank of Australia raised interest rates in May and again earlier this week at its June meeting. Both times the RBA raised interest rates higher than expected.
