KONTAN.CO.ID - ISLAMABAD. The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) menaikkan suku bunga kebijakannya sebesar 250 basis poin menjadi 12,25% dalam pertemuan darurat pada Hari Kamis (7/4). Kenaikan suku bunga oleh Bank Sentral Pakistan itu, terbesar dalam beberapa tahun.
SBP mengutip penurunan prospek inflasi dan peningkatan risiko terhadap stabilitas eksternal yang diperparah oleh konflik Rusia-Ukraina. Otoritas moneter tersebut juga menyebutkan faktor ketidakpastian politik domestik.
