美国证券交易委员会指控两公司参与庞氏骗局！
美国证券交易委员会（SEC）宣布，该机构已对佛罗里达州居民Johanna M. Garcia（以下称“Garcia”）以及她的两个公司提起指控，因为后者涉嫌参与庞氏骗局并挪用投资者收益。
Garcia运营的两个公司分别为MJ Capital Funding LLC和MJ Taxes and More Inc.。根据SEC的声明，自2020年6月左右以来，Garcia及其公司通过欺诈性证券发行向2150多名投资者筹集了至少7000万美元。
Garcia告诉投资者，发行收益将用于小企业贷款融资，并向投资者承诺年回报率为120-180%。事实上，Garcia最多只提供了290万美元的贷款，而且收益极少。
被告以典型的庞氏骗局方式向现有投资者支付所谓的回报，滥用了另外2740万美元的投资者资金，其中很大一部分是支付给推销这些投资的销售代理。
SEC迈阿密地区办事处主任Eric I. Bustillo表示："正如我们所指控的那样，Garcia和她的公司虚假承诺高额回报率，引诱投资者参与投资。在此我们继续提醒投资者，警惕任何回报率高得不真实的投资项目。"
