Myrmikan Capital创始人Dan Oliver周三(2月3日)表示，金价走高主要是美元走软的结果，但美联储目前正处于困境。
Oliver指出，一方面，低利率对黄金有利，但如果美联储保持低利率太久，通胀就会失控。
另一方面，如果美联储提高利率以应对更高的通胀，金融体系可能就会“崩溃”。
他说:“我关注黄金，不是以美元计价的黄金……黄金是有史以来最稳定的货币媒介，这就是它作为货币存在了四千年的原因。”
“我不认为金价会在真空中升至1万美元，这意味着美元将大幅下跌。”
