At 2.00 am ET Wednesday, Germany's market research group GfK has released consumer confidence survey data for October. The euro changed little against its major rivals after the data.
The euro was trading at 1.1687 against the greenback, 122.84 against the yen, 1.0762 against the franc and 0.9189 against the pound around 2:01 am ET.
