美国疫情有升温之势，这令美国经济重启进展遭遇打击。
近期美国智库Economic Policy Institute研究表明，美国失业人群中，每10个就有1个最终将难以回到原本的工作岗位上。
研究显示，约1190万因疫情失业的美国人将完全不可能回到自己之前的岗位上，约占其总计就业人口的7.2%。570万有可能回到自己的岗位上，但大概率回不去，约占3.5%。
也就是说，差不多1760万，即美国11%的原本工作人口将无法回去工作。
该机构高级经济学家Heidi Shierholz表示，很多指望自己能回到工作岗位的人会发现，他们的无薪假将变成裁员。
Shierholz指出，美国总体的失业人群将非常巨大，其中少数族裔，尤其是少数族裔女性面临着更为严峻的挑战。
