安提瓜加密货币监管法案在下议院获通过
安提瓜和巴布达众议院于5月27日通过了一项加密货币监管法案。通过这项法案，他们已经向着成为加勒比地区数字资产友好型目的地迈出了一步。
该监管框架被称为“2020年数字资产业务法案”，旨在监管在岛上建立业务的加密货币公司，并为交易所和客户提供保护。
该法案规定在安提瓜和巴布达的所有数字资产业务必须获得“发行、销售或赎回虚拟币”的许可证，才能提供支付服务或电子交易所经营、托管钱包服务等。
如果公司不遵守该法，可能会被处以最高25万美元的罚款。经理人也可能面临刑事指控，包括坐牢。
该法案将授权该国的金融服务监管委员会（FSRC）确保加密货币公司执行新的法律框架。
安提瓜和巴布达技术经济特使Calvin Ayre一直是该国支持采用加密货币的积极代言人。他表示，有了这个法案，安提瓜现在已经走在了加密货币应用领域的前端。
