加密期货交易所BitMex被起诉 原告索赔3亿美元
据了解，加密期货交易所BitMex近日被两名早期投资者以欺诈罪起诉，并被索赔3亿美元。
该案原告为Frank Amato和RGB Coin，他们自称是BitMex的第一轮种子投资者。 2015年，Amato向BitMex投资了3万美元，根据协议，这些资金将转换为交易所的股权。
但是，原告指控BitMex的创始人未遵守前述协议，Amato尚未获得任何股权，按照该公司目前10亿美元的估值，Amato应持有的股权目前约为5000万美元。
原告将要求BitMex给付其5,000万美元的股权，以及另外的2.5亿美元的惩罚性赔偿。
原告于12月4日向美国加利福尼亚州旧金山高级法院提起诉讼。
BitMEX是最大的加密货币衍生品平台之一，其客户大多数是来自亚洲的新手交易者。该平台以提供高达100倍杠杆的期货合约而闻名，这受到了交易界的欢迎，但也收到不少严厉指责。
根据BitMEX网站的数据，该平台在过去24小时内处理了价值18.3亿美元的交易，过去30日的交易量更是高达738亿美元。尽管交易量巨大，但仍远低于几个月前的交易量。
今年早些时候，BitMEX还被美国商品期货交易委员会（CFTC）调查，原因BitMEX在该国提供的服务可能违法法律规定，但最终双方均未确认指控。
此外，BitMEX最近还因不小心泄露了许多客户的个人电子邮件而引起轩然大波。
