OPEC said to propose meeting on 8-12 July, await responses

Saying that the bloc has proposed to ministers to meet on 8-12 July in Vienna and is currently awaiting responses from members about the proposal. Given the dates, the OPEC conference will take place on 11 July with the OPEC+ meeting set for 12 July.

Although markets are very much anticipating that the bloc will extend the production cuts deal, they have yet to firm up on a date to meet up with Russia being unable to commit to a meet at the end of this month while other members are reluctant to postpone the meeting.
