China's Vice Premier with bullish comments on the economy
Thanks to his role at trade talks I know this guy's name! Liu He:
- says domestic economic development remains stable and healthy
- says major macroeconomic indicators all remain within reasonable ranges
- says country continues to push ahead with economic rebalancing
- says whatever happens to economy in short-term, long-term trends remain good
- says country still has plenty of policy tools and is capable of dealing with various challenges
- Financial institutions should strengthen countercyclical measures and keep liquidity reasonable and ample
