波兰外汇经纪商XTB本周四宣布，将不再支持MetaTrader 4平台的Web版本，该版本将从本周末开始停用。
从现在开始，XTB客户将无法访问MetaTrader Web的真实和模拟帐户。XTB将只支持MetaQuotes的电子外汇平台。
XTB在声明中表示：“上述变更不会影响MetaTrader上的交易帐户，可以使用MT4的桌面版本登录和管理帐户。”
目前尚不清楚XTB为何放弃MetaTrader 4平台的Web版本。
与此同时，MetaTrader平台正日益普及。尽管不断有人预测这个外汇交易平台将会崩溃，但它目前仍然是行业标准。
本月初，XTB公布的财报显示，2018年公司收入同比增加5%至2.883亿兹罗提（7500万美元)，净利润同比增长近9%至1.24亿兹罗提（合3200万美元）。■
