特朗普回忆了对伊朗发动行动前的商讨过程：“（当时）我给皮特打了电话，给凯恩打了电话，还给我们很多优秀的人打了电话’。”
“皮特，我记得你是第一个表态的，”特朗普转头对坐在一旁的赫格塞思说，“你说，‘我们动手吧。’绝不能让他们拥有he武器。”
