Donald Trump said the US now has “full access” to Venezuelan resources and wants American oil companies to return. Damage to the La Guaira port was reported as minor, while PDVSA production remained intact. Russia and EU officials issued warnings on sovereignty and urged restraint. 🛢️ Oil Market Reaction Oil prices were volatile: early losses were partly recovered before slipping again. At the time of writing, oil is down 0.55%. Fears of supply disruption have eased, as Venezuelan production and exports remain largely unaffected. Despite higher regional risk premiums, the short-term impact is seen as limited given Venezuela’s output of under 1 mb/d.
