Nilai tukar rupiah dibuka di level Rp16.702 per dolar AS pada perdagangan Selasa (9/12), melemah 7 poin atau 0,04 persen. Pergerakan mata uang Asia tercatat beragam, sementara mayoritas mata uang utama negara maju justru menguat.
Analis Doo Financial Futures menyebut rupiah bergerak datar karena investor menunggu rilis indeks kepercayaan konsumen Indonesia yang diperkirakan sedikit meningkat. Indeks dolar AS juga stabil jelang keputusan FOMC.
Hari ini rupiah diperkirakan bergerak di kisaran Rp16.650–Rp16.750 per dolar AS.
