Coinbase 跟随埃隆·马斯克——从特拉华州迁至德克萨斯州
Coinbase 宣布将离开特拉华州，并在德克萨斯州重新注册公司，加入越来越多离开特拉华州的企业行列——其中包括特斯拉（Tesla）、SpaceX、Roblox 和Andreessen Horowitz 等公司。特拉华州曾以“对企业友好”著称，但如今这一声誉正在减弱。
Coinbase 首席法务官Paul Grewal 表示，特拉华州不可预测的法院判决使该州对企业的吸引力下降。相比之下，德克萨斯州通过新立法（第29号参议院法案）以及设立德克萨斯州商业法院体系，为企业提供了更可预期、更有利于创新和高效解决争端的法律环境。
此次迁移与埃隆·马斯克早前将其公司迁往德克萨斯州的举动类似。当时，特拉华州法院否决了马斯克数十亿美元的薪酬方案。与此同时，特拉华州官员表示，他们正努力重建企业信任，防止更多公司出走。
