Bursa saham AS ditutup melemah pada Rabu (Kamis dini hari WIB), tertekan oleh saham raksasa AI seperti Nvidia dan Oracle. Indeks S&P 500 turun 0,28% ke 6.637,97, Nasdaq Composite melemah 0,34% ke 22.497,86, dan Dow Jones terkoreksi 171,50 poin atau 0,37% ke 46.121,28. Kekhawatiran investor terhadap prospek industri AI menghentikan tren kenaikan tiga hari S&P 500 dan menekan Nasdaq yang didominasi saham teknologi.
Nvidia turun hampir 1% setelah penurunan sehari sebelumnya, meski baru saja mengumumkan kemitraan senilai US$100 miliar dengan OpenAI. Oracle juga jatuh hampir 2% untuk hari kedua berturut-turut. Namun, kerugian Nasdaq berhasil dipangkas menjelang penutupan berkat lonjakan saham Intel lebih dari 6%, setelah laporan Bloomberg menyebutkan Apple sedang mempertimbangkan investasi pada perusahaan chip tersebut.
