Awal belajar trading, gue sering bingung bedain trend kuat sama trend lemah. Akhirnya gue coba indikator ADX forex (Average Directional Index). Ternyata indikator ini nggak kasih sinyal arah buy/sell, tapi nunjukin seberapa kuat trend yang lagi jalan.
Misalnya, kalau nilai ADX di atas 25, biasanya trend lagi cukup kuat. Di bawah itu, market cenderung sideways. Jadi ADX ini bantu banget buat filter entry biar nggak salah buka posisi di market yang sepi gerakan.
Gue sering latihan pakai ADX forex di chart Followme.com, soalnya gampang cek trend sambil diskusi sama komunitas trader lain. Dari situ gue jadi lebih ngerti kapan harus ikut trend dan kapan mending nunggu.
Kesimpulannya, ADX forex cocok banget buat pemula yang mau belajar baca kekuatan trend, bukan cuma arahnya aja.
