At RoboTeam, we always take pride in the sporting achievements of our team members! Our colleague, Roman Karakulov, recently participated in the Ironman tournament in Zell Am See, Austria. The contest involved a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km bike ride, and a 21.1 km run.
Roman has made the RoboTeam proud by securing 10th place in his age category in a field of over 1,500 athletes from 70 countries. Here's a breakdown of Roman's impressive performance: 35 minutes for the swim, 2 hours 30 minutes for the bike ride, and 1 hour 38 minutes for the run.
Roman's outstanding achievements have earned him a spot in the World Championship, set to take place in New Zealand on 14-15 December 2024. We'll cheer him on as he prepares for gold on the global stage.
