CySEC revokes AAA Trade and Stockstech Investments' ClF
The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) announced the withdrawal of authorization for two Cyprus Investment Firms (ClFs): AAA Trade Ltd (authorization number 244/14) and Stockstech Investments Ltd (authorization number 419/22). CySEC revoked its authorization by relevant laws and directives. Both companies voluntarily renounced their authorization.
IG Group has appointed Mark Evans as Head of Corporate Development. Last month, Jody Dunn became Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Sarah Gore Langton became Chief Risk Officer (CRO). Charlie Rozes and Jon Noble stepped down as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, respectively. In Q3 FY24, IG Group reported a total revenue of £240.1 million, a 4.5 percent increase from the previous quarter.

Japanese traders can now invest in Global Contracts for Difference (CFDs) on US stocks, alongside global stock options and futures through Interactive Brokers Securities Japan Inc. In addition to CFDs on US stocks, Interactive Brokers has introduced new features such as lBKR Desktop, expanded trading hours, fractional shares trading, and an enhanced Japanese website.
MetroTrade, a new player in the American financial market, aims to transform the US retail futures market. Backed by Andromeda Capital Partners Suisse and led by Co-Founders Ingmar Mattus and David Klotz, MetroTrade has obtained registration with the CFTC and plans to establish partnerships with major industry players. The company is set to launch its platform this summer and invites potential clients to join its waiting list. These strategic moves align with the changing regulatory landscape and the industry's shift towards futures and options.
