FCA 对 Guy Flintham 的欺诈提起刑事诉讼
英国金融行为监管局 (FCA) 已对 Guy Flintham 提起刑事诉讼，指控其通过虚假陈述实施欺诈以及未经授权开展受监管活动。
FCA 指控，2016 年 1 月至 2021 年 11 月间，总部位于兰开夏郡布莱克本的 Flintham 通过虚假陈述，说服约 240 名投资者向其经营的投资计划投资约 1,900 万英镑，从而欺骗了这些投资者。
Flintham 向投资者作出了一系列欺诈性宣称，包括计划的运作方式以及投资者通过该计划可以获得的利润，并伪造了相关文件。
Flintham 在接受投资者资金时，从事的是接受存款的受监管活动，而他并未获准从事该活动。因此，FCA 进一步指控 Flintham 作为未经授权的人，犯下了未经授权或豁免而从事受监管活动的罪行。
Flintham 于 2024 年 1 月 22 日在威斯敏斯特地方法院出庭，对未经授权或豁免而从事受监管活动的罪行表示无罪，他没有就欺诈罪表示认罪。
此案已移交南华克刑事法院，将于 2024 年 2 月 19 日举行认罪和审判准备听证会。
