EURUSD: Euro prices around the world fell slightly

The euro fell slightly today. Eurozone and UK on Wednesday (August 23) PMI data that could reveal whether the European Central Bank (ECB) will raise rates again in September and whether the Bank of England (BOE) will do so will be announced. Interest rates continue to rise sharply. 

Purchasing Managers' Indexes (PMIs) in the eurozone and the UK have fallen in recent months on weak service sectors and slowing manufacturing activity. 

ECB President Christine Lagarde is set to speak at the Jackson Hole symposium on Friday as investors seek clues about the ECB's next move in September. 

Lagarde said in July that the ECB would remain "open-minded" about future rate decisions, adding that policymakers "are entering a data-dependent period." #OPINIONLEADER#
