香港证券及期货事务监察委员会(证监会)与廉政公署(廉署)近日发布公告称，通过联合行动打击了一个活跃于市场的“唱高散货”集团，拘捕5名集团骨干成员。
该集团极有组织，涉嫌以贪污手法透过多间香港上市公司组成复杂的持股网络进行“唱高散货”市场操纵活动，涉及非法收益1.91亿元。集团另外八人早前已在证监会及廉署另一项联合行动中被捕。
据悉，5名被捕者部分有会计师资格，分别于多间香港上市公司担任高层人员。证监会及廉署在是次联合行动中搜查了多个处所，包括被捕者的办公室及住所。
证监会法规执行部执行董事魏弘福(Mr Christopher Wilson)表示，此次联合行动展现决心打击一切涉及贪污的市场失当行为，以及对企图妨碍该会调查及司法公正的违法者，采取零容忍的态度。证监会致力与廉署合作，杜绝任何失当行为，以维护香港作为国际金融市场的声誉。
调查目前仍在进行当中。
