馬丁的問題在人 不在策略
馬丁在有止損的情況下也是會有回撤的，載著正當運用的情況下，馬丁的作用是「捕捉波動值不超過止損範圍的行情」，只要在盈利率和硬止損之間取得平衡，且在超過硬止損的波動時依約止損，就能賺錢。
然而有問題的是人，人往往只會在風險來臨，且已經正在承擔超乎心理預期的風險時，才會人知道風險並對其作出反應，譬如在大幅浮虧的時候提前手動平倉，或是在大倉位且尚未達到止盈前手動平倉，進而使實際表現不符合原定結果。或者跟單有硬止損的馬丁，但卻在達到硬止損且信號提供者確實止損後，停止跟單，如此一來就只會永遠吃到虧損的部分。
