习壁虎，有决心，勿侥幸。做错了跑得坚决跑得快。
仲夏的深夜，闷热无风。屋檐下一只黄灰色的壁虎漫步于墙上，悠闲自得地捕食蚊蝇和飞蛾。当它游弋到墙根时，附近草丛突然一动，一条青绿色带如箭射出，箭头还淬着毒液，绝对是毙命的一击！
果然，蛇一口就咬住了从墙根掉落的猎物，可仔细一瞧，口中的美味夜宵竟只是一条还未停止抽搐的壁虎尾巴，真正的猎物——壁虎早已躲进了檐角里。
交易者一定要学会壁虎断尾的自保方式，留得青山在，不怕没柴烧。很多人不知何为止损，更不知如何止损。开仓之后，自己设定一个可承受的亏损限度，一旦亏损达到这个限度，立刻平仓出局，即为止损。
一般而言，止损的设定由交易习惯决定。壁虎遇到敌害，尾部肌肉本能地强烈收缩并使之断落，称为“自切”。人就不一样了，即使有了止损的观念，可到了该止损的时候，大脑往往会发出反对信号，因此止损往往不能有效执行。不止损等同于壁虎遇到蛇不自切，断掉的尾巴可以再长，而被蛇吞下则连生命也没有了！所以，止损至关重要。
