Gold has bottomed.
World Gold Council has reported that for Q3 2022, there were huge purchases of 400 tonnes by central banks, numbers not seen for 2 decades. Unfortunately, it did not name the big mysterious sovereign buyers. Seems like gold is living up to its reputation as the 'recession-proof asset'.
World Gold Council telah melaporkan bahwa pada kwartal ketiga 2022, terjadi pembelian sebesar 400 ton emas oleh beberapa bank sentral, angka yang tidak terlihat selama 2 dasawarsa. Sayangnya, ia tidak menyebut bank sentral dari negara mana saja. Sepertinya, emas sedang menunjukkan julukannya sebagai 'aset penangkal resesi'.
