据报道，埃克森美孚(XOM.US)同意收购挪威生物燃料公司Biojet 49.9%的股份，具体金额并未披露。
埃克森美孚表示，Biojet计划将林业和木质建筑废料转化为低排放生物燃料和生物燃料组件，并计划在2025年在挪威Follum建造一座工厂，以开始商业化生产。
另外，Biojet计划开发多达五个生产设施，而根据这五个设施的潜在产能，埃克森美孚每年可以购买高达300万桶的生物燃料产品。
最后，埃克森美孚表示，公司正在评估世界各地的生物燃料、碳捕获和储存以及氢项目。据悉，去年，该公司建立了一个低碳解决方案业务。
