Arti merah dan hijau dalam candlestick tentu menandakan sebuah candlestick bullish atau bearish. Ketika candlestick berwarna hijau, itu menandakan harga open lebih tinggi daripada closed. Pola ini seringkali disebut candlestick bullish.
