英美多种能源价格齐刷新高，取暖成本暴涨、供应商倒闭
受多种因素影响，英美的煤炭、电力等能源价格继续上涨。本周一英国高峰电价三年来第二次超过2000英镑/兆瓦时，而美国煤炭价格创2009年以来新高。
由于近期英国及其周边风力不足，天气条件不利于风力发电，英国电网加大了对天然气和煤炭发电的依赖。11月15日晚上5点至6点，英国高峰用电价格自2018年以来第二次超过2000英镑/兆瓦时，仅次于今年9月能源危机最严重时所达到的2500英镑/兆瓦时。
当天，英国天然气发电占总发电量的比重为55%，超过以往40%的平均水平。而风力发电的比重则仅为4%，还不到平均水平的五分之一。此前几乎已不再使用的煤电比重则升至3%。
今年夏天，英国政府曾宣布到2024年将完全淘汰煤电，但风力发电的不稳定性使英国电网近期有时仍需用煤电救急。2020年8月中旬，热浪使英国风电陷入停滞，英国电网就不得不在停用煤电近2个月后重启煤电。
今年9月以来，英国能源价格飞升已导致近20家能源供应商破产倒闭，仅11月2日一天就有4家倒闭，2.4万户家庭受波及，预计未来几周还会有更多的能源供应商面临运营困难。
