Playtech日前宣布将于7月15日召开的股东大会推迟两周，以便董事会和股东进一步考虑Finalto的出售事项。
Playtech将进行股东投票，以最终批准由Barinboim Group牵头的财团提出的2.1亿美元收购。不过，由于Gopher Investments向Finalto提出2.5亿美元的收购要约，这一过程遇到了障碍。
Playtech早在5月份就与该财团签署了一份具有约束力的协议，不能再与第三方展开谈判。Gopher于7月2日提出报价，现在坚持要求Playtech管理层考虑这笔收购，并敦促股东投票反对该财团的出价。
Playtech澄清道：“Playtech和该财团均受SPA协议的限制，包括不与任何第三方就涉及Finalto出售的潜在交易进行谈判，这是此类交易的惯例。”
此前，该财团指出，即使股东投票反对其收购要约，Playtech想在一年内以超过2亿美元的价格将Finalto出售给第三方，该公司必须支付880万美元违约金。
