Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Presiden Amerika Serikat Joe Biden telah menandatangani paket stimulus COVID-19 sebesar USD 1,9 triliun, yang diberi nama American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
Sebelumnya, pemerintah AS di bawah kepemimpinan Donald Trump diketahui telah menggelontorkan stimulus USD 2,2 triliun dengan nama Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act yang diteken pada 27 Maret 2020.
Pemerintah AS kembali menggelontorkan paket stimulus COVID-19 lanjutan senilai USD 2,3 triliun, dengan nama Consolidate Appropriations Act, 2021, yang ditandatangani Presiden Trump pada 27 Desember 2020.
Pengamat pasar modal, Teguh Hidayat menilai, stimulus jumbo tersebut telah direspons oleh Dow Jones yang mencatatkan break new high di sekitar 32.000. Angka ini, kata Teguh, masih mungkin untuk melanjutkan kenaikan.
