The Melbourne-based broker ThinkMarkets ' business in the UK has parted ways with its compliance officer Alla Polyanskaya, ending a six-year job outside Australia.

Polyanskaya has joined Morningstar, Inc. (Nasdaq: MORN), an investment research company that continues to capitalize on the global demand for its solutions and continues to invest in new executive management talent to drive growth in the Asia-Pacific region.

In her new capacity, she will oversee the company's laws, compliance, supervision and regulatory practices, and help maintain contacts with domestic and foreign partners in the financial services industry.

Polyanskaya will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the company's relevant rules, regulations and guidelines. Given the increasing globalization of companies and the evolving regulatory environment, this is an unprecedented challenge.

Alla has more than 11 years of extensive experience in compliance roles and managing large-scale regulatory projects. Her career includes several positions as a financial assistant at TMK IPSCO, and started her career in 2010. She previously served as Director of Operations at Finege.

Polyanskaya joined Thi in 2013? nkForex got involved in foreign exchange business when he was the financial officer. In 2015, she was promoted to become a compliance and anti-money laundering officer, just as a multi-license foreign exchange brokerage company was renamed ThinkMarkets.

In this position, she has worked for a company regulated by the FCA for nearly six years, which is also regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). Her promotion also comes at a time when the company has been seeking to continue its international expansion. In 2019, ThinkMarkets expanded its global reach through its licensed South African company. Specifically, the broker provides South African and international products through its trading platforms, such as single-stock CFDs, stock indices, currencies and commodities.
