Selandia Baru mengincar dosis pertama virus Corona pada bulan Maret, setelah menyetujui vaksin Pfizer/BioNTech.
Pemerintah pertama-tama akan menargetkan perawat kesehatan garis depan dan pekerja perbatasan, diikuti oleh petugas kebersihan, staf keamanan, dan perawat yang melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan di fasilitas isolasi terkelola, petugas bea cukai dan perbatasan, staf maskapai penerbangan, dan pekerja hotel. Vaksinasi komunitas yang lebih luas diluncurkan sejak pertengahan tahun.
