DoNews12月22日消息，苹果终于坐不住了。路透社援引知情人士消息称，苹果计划在2024年推出第一款乘用车，包括其使用自己的电池技术和自动驾驶技术。
知情人士称，苹果有信心进军这一领域的信心来自于，其新的电池设计或将“从根本上”降低电池成本，增加行驶里程。而在关键的传感器部件方面，苹果一边计划从外部合作伙伴中获取激光雷达传感器等自动驾驶系统组成元件，一边也开始着手自研。
对于路透社的报道，苹果表示拒绝对未来计划和产品规划进行评论。
