瑞士央行料通过资产负债表的迅速扩张，对瑞郎保持警惕，尽管资产负债表的规模仍是一个潜在的担忧，瑞士央行继续认为欧元“价值很高”，事实上，根据经合组织的估计，瑞郎相对欧元而言被高估得最多，凸显瑞士央行的干预将继续作为政策首选，而不是常规或非常规政策；
瑞士央行有意将欧元兑瑞郎下限设定在1.06左右，以限制反通胀趋势，并维持出口商的竞争力，由于瑞士经济与德国和整个欧元区紧密相连，而德国经济预计将从激进的财政扩张中获得提振，加上欧盟27国就救助基金达成协议后，欧元人气有所提振，欧元兑瑞郎年底前仍有望涨回1.09。
